A new software update was released today for ColorMunki Display. This software update includes a new version of X-Rite Device Services and fixes various small issues and adds some important versatility to ColorMunki Display. What’s New in Version 1.1.0? • Added video standard presets; ITU-R Rec. 709, NTSC, and PAL SECAM, which are pre-configured presets. • A new version of XRD (X-Rites Device Services), which corrects the dual Display profiling on OSX 10.9.x. • Updated i1 Display device SDK to support, the new display EDR files and Burst measurement mode.
• Support for Microsoft® Windows 8 and 8.1 • Support for OSX 10.8.x and 10.9.x • Fixed dual display profiling on OSX, 10.9.x • Fixed several other minor issues. Gta vice city pc download windows 7.
Here's my tale of woe. My ColorMunki Photo worked well with Windows XP, 7 and 8. My new build is a complete fresh install (not an upgrade) of Windows 10 Pro on a new ASUS Z97-A /USB 3.1 motherboard. The computer is running fine, however, I can't get the ColorMunki to work properly.
After installing the CM software (downloaded from the ColorMunki website), the 'Activate' button is greyed out and a message that the CM is not connected appears. (BTW, when I connect the CM to my USB port, I hear the OS ring indicating that a USB device has been connected. I have also tried different USB ports with the CM and they all don't work). I contacted X-Rite and they sent me a link for a download to fix this problem. Once this new software was installed, the activate button appeared and it now says the CM is connected.
When the Activate button is pressed, immediately a dialog box appears saying a new version of CM software is available for download. As directed by X-Rite tech support, I deleted a license file and then rebooted and installed the latest version of CM software (version 1.1.1).
Again, my CM is not detected. I have also turned off and on CM services as directed by X-Rite but with no success. I'm going around in circles trying to get this thing to work. I'm beginning to think (as suggested by X-Rite) that it may be a USB port issue (although every other USB device connected to the computer is working fine).
I am thinking about getting a powered USB hub and seeing if this solves the issue. Anyone having similar problems installing CM on Windows 10. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions. As a side note, I find it hard to believe that X-Rite still shows CM software from 2009 without any recent updates for newer operating systems.
